The Pakistani actor-singer was admitted to a hospital in the capital city after he fell ill
Ali Zafar was in Delhi to promote his film Total Siyapaa which will hit the theaters this week. The B-town hunk and his onscreen ladylove Yami Gautam have gone all out to create buzz around their romantic comedy. However, the extensive promotions and hectic schedule took a toll on Ali’s health it seems. While talking to a tabloid, a source said, “Ali happened to eat something wrong after which he started feeling feverish and vomited around midnight. He was then rushed to hospital in the wee hours of Monday. The doctor treating Ali said it is a case of food poisoning.”
The Total Siyapaa team was supposed to head to Chandigarh for promotions but coz of Zafar’s health reasons the plan has taken a back seat. “Ali had been feeling unwell since Sunday evening but he did not want to disrupt the schedule. With the film slated to release this Friday, Ali wanted to go all out to promote the film,” a source close to the Tere Bin Laden star told the tabloid.
Looks like shooting for a film is easier than promotions these days, hai na? Well, we know promotions are important for a film but not at the cost of one’s health, right? While we looking forward to Total Siyapaa, we wish a speedy recovery to the lead hero of the film.
